Matt Deneen has foundation based on decades of experience, thousands of days on set, assisting masters, formal art education, and a lot of blood sweat and tears.  Matt’s ground-up approach has taken him on the road from Hollywood film studios to adverse locations from wind blasted arctic mountain tops to equatorial jungles and parched deserts.  From setting film-lights on skyscraper rooftops to digiteching in helicopters, nothing is out of the question. 

He takes that history and experience with him every time he gets behind the camera.  There is always a “bigger picture” to every photo, and something special to take from any situation. For every project it is always crucial to have a plan, but experience and training leave the door open for unintended magic that happens when you’re prepared and your eyes are really open.
